This early sculptural work is playing with shape and space that is affected by light from within and outside.
The Work consisted of a range of materials including paper, clay, metal and glass, the sculptures varied in size and were intended for interior or exterior settings. These pieces, with their subtle and minimal colour and form, often evoked a sense of the architectural.

All items were hand built, using Paper Clay* to build the structure and Engobe** to colour the surface.

All stages of creation involve improvisation and experimentation with other materials in the quest for original composition and the expression of a personal language of form.
